When my husband and I started our first adoption journey, social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter didn't even exist. The second time around we've taken advantage of Facebook's social network to promote our adoption efforts using their Groups tool. Our group has 175 members. That's a 175 people on the look out for adoption opportunities for us. A fair share are our family and friends but we do have lots of friends of friends and family of family.
